Mediterranean Cruise 2025 - Split
16 th October, Thursday We were able to walk off the ship to the middle of town. It was a bit chilly this morning so Sue bought a woollen cardi, reduced to €10, which was just the job. We enjoyed wandering the ruins of the Diocletian’s Palace (free) before visiting the Split City Museum. An interesting and very new museum that cost €10 pp. The area is a mixture of ruins and restoration and very much lived in. Amazing to stand where a palace was built in the 3 rd centur

Mediterranean Cruise 2025 - Dubrovnik
15 th October, Wednesday We put our clocks back one hour, but we didn’t cross the dateline until the morning so the alarm woke us early. We had breakfast in the Lido on the 9 th deck. Caught the 9 o’clock shuttle to the Pile Gate. Not too many people about and we were able to buy tickets to walk The Wall without waiting. The ticket officers were very interested in the 1980 entry ticket that I’d brought with me. It belonged to Tony Mace and is dated 1980, so 45 years old

Mediterranean Cruise 2025 - Corfu
14 th October, Tuesday Tried breakfast at the Lido buffet this morning – so much choice. Left the ship just after 8am and caught a shuttle to the Cruise Terminal (not really necessary – it wasn’t far). We then bypassed the HOHO/City Tour buses and walked through the back streets to the Old Fortress. We spent a couple of hours there, including the steepish climb up to the lighthouse at the top (we couldn’t go in the lighthouse). We then wandered the very touristy street
